Lefkada is the fourth largest island in the Ionian Islands and is only a short distance from the coast of Etoloakarnania (with which it is connected by a floating bridge) and together with Evia are the only islands in Greece that can be reached by road.
Lefkada, thanks to its great natural beauty, has become a very attractive tourist destination in the last decades. Its important advantage is that one can come here by driving. Crossing the movable bridge you will find yourself directly in the town of Lefkada.
